100% recommend this tour if you are in the area. This was an absolutely amazing day from start to finish. It was my first time in Australia so I was going in blindly, but this trip far exceeded my expectations. Just when I thought I had a new favorite spot, the next place would be even more beautiful. Josephine Falls and Lake Eacham were gorgeous and loads of fun. We had lunch by the beautiful Milla Milla Falls. Honestly, the whole thing felt like a dream.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our Guide had such a great sense of humour and fun and you could tell his heart was really in the job making sure we all had the best day. I love swimming in waterfalls and photography. Each spot was just so beautiful. I definitely loved the Josephine Falls - it was super great fun sliding down the rockface in the waterfall. The Babinda Boulders were also amazing. 10/10. I thought the timing was just right - I didn't feel rushed or that we stayed too long in any one spot.

This was such an amazing experience! The scenery was beautiful and our guide knew so much about the region so we learnt alot too. All the places we saw were amazing but sliding down Josephine Falls and Swimming under Millaa Milla fallls were the highlights. We had so much fun with our tour guide. What a laugh! My husband and I really needed to laugh. Our Guide was also very knowledgeable about the area and sites which was good to know. A: For our private custom group tours, we offer more flexibility regarding age restrictions to accommodate the unique needs of your group. While we welcome guests of all ages, we advise that children under 3 years old may not be suited for the full extent of the tour activities, especially swimming in certain locations. Although we can adjust our itinerary to be more child-friendly, please note that we do not provide car seats, and children are not permitted in the front seats for safety reasons.
It’s important to consider the length of the day and the activities involved when deciding if the tour is appropriate for your children. We aim to ensure that our tours are enjoyable for all participants, and we’re happy to discuss modifications to make your private charter experience perfect for your group’s needs.

Q: What’s your cancellation policy for groups bookings?
A: Our cancellation policy for group bookings is designed to accommodate the planning and resources involved in creating your custom adventure. Here’s how it works:
- More than 31 days before departure: We retain a 10% administrative fee.
- 11-31 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 25% applies.
- 4-10 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 50% applies.
- Less than 72 hours before departure: Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund.
In the event of a cancellation by Barefoot Tours, you’ll receive a full refund. For bookings made through a Travel Agent, please consult their terms and conditions, as they may have different policies.

A: While we aim to provide a seamless tour experience, we can’t control Acts of God. We can’t be held responsible for unforeseen changes to the itinerary due to factors like weather, road conditions, or natural events. However, we’ll do our best to make the day enjoyable, rain or shine.
Q: Is the tour cancelled if it rains?
A: No, welcome to the rainforest! Cairns’ Wet Season usually runs from December to late March. We still run tours in rainy weather. Embrace the adventure; rain is part of the Cairns experience. You’ll see more locations, and sitting in a hotel room isn’t as fun!
