Embark on a Journey with Rainforest Spirit Tours (our brother company) to the oldest low-lying rainforest in the world, estimated to be between 110 to 180 Million years old (6-10 times older than the Amazon Rainforest!)
With a maximum of 12 passengers on tour to explore the Daintree with, you’ll be sure it’s a personalised and fun but educational trip.
With a glimpse into the indigenous culture, a daring croc spotting boat cruise, beautiful lookouts, guided bush walk, a refreshing dip at Mossman Gorge and walks down the stunning beaches… We are not sure if you are going to want to leave our beautiful region afterwards!

Setting off from Gilligans in Cairns at 6;50am to beat the crowds most of the day.
First stop is the glorious Palm Cove Beach, favourite among many locals. Then we continue on to the magnificent breath taking Rex Lookout for some truley awesome Photos of the Coral sea!
Rainforest Spirit Tour then proceeds to the Mossman Gorge nestled in the Mountain Rainforest. Home to the Local Indiginous tribe the Kuku Yalangi people.
After a refreshing early morming swim and a guided bush walk, we then set off to the notorious ‘Crocodile infested Daintree River! ‘
It is here we board a small sea vessel and go exploring for Crocodiles and exstensive Bird and aquadic marine life. Approximatly 1 hr Boat cruise!

Fasten your seat belts as its now to time to drive in to the depths of the Daintree Rainforest! After a short 10 minute drive we arrive the most unique Lookout in the area known as the Alexandra Range scenic Lookout!
‘What makes this look out so special?’ It’s one of the only places ‘in the world’ where two natural world heritage areas meet! This is where you can see the Daintree Rainforest meet the Great Barrier Reef!
Continiuing on, driving into the unique rainforest north bound for our final destination Cape Tribulation.
Rainforest Spirit has adopted the best Cafe in the area to sit and enjoy your delicous lunch! There is a fantastic menu to choose from for our guests. !! Note: Lunch is an addittional cost to the tour, there is no Vegan food options on the menu so Vegans please bring your own lunch. (:
After Lunch we then set off for viewing of the beautiful Cape Tribulation beach and short mangrove walk. Our guides will teach you of the diverse Fauna and flora of the Tropical Rainforest.
After spending a considerable amount of time at Cape Tribualtion we now make tracks south bound for the coastal hip town of Port Douglas!
On route to Port Douglas we pull in along the way for some yummy Aunty Betty’s Biodinamic Ice Cream!
Arriving in the late afternoon approximatly 5pm we take a short stop over in Port Douglas! Checking out the lookout nestled in the Mountain. From here guests can view the World famous Four-mile Beach Port Douglas! Here you will learn of some Local knowledge and history of the small and famous town!
After a long but action packed day its now time to set off home back to Cairns.
