Join us for your dream Cairns tour – one that’s chill, fun and all about nature. We’ll show you all the best things to do in the tropical oasis of the Atherton Tablelands, from taking a dip beneath some of Cairns most epic waterfalls to exploring the mystic curtain of roots set by a half a century old tree. If your lucky enough you may be able to spot some of Australia’s endemic wildlife in the Daintree rainforest like the famous Cassowaries
Just a day trip from Cairns, you’ll feel a world away. Meet new friends, discover Australia’s unique landscape and chow down on a box of Tim Tams at the end of it all. Let’s go!
Rough itinerary (we are not strict with the itinerary and often throw in other stops or change locations depending on time/weather, and sometimes we run the whole tour backwards for shits and giggles!!)
However these are the regular stops: Cathedral Fig Tree, Lake Eacham, Dinner Falls and The Crater, Millaa Millaa Falls, Josephine Falls
All meals are included during the day.

What to Bring
Togs, swimmers, bathers, bikini, boardies, (whatever you like to call them!!). If you’d rather go naked, that’s fine if that’s what floats your boat!!
A dry change of clothes (maybe something warm in winter)
Sunscreen– watch out for that good ol’ Aussie sun, otherwise you’ll be a lobster before you know it! A hat’s not a bad idea either.
Insect repellent for those pesky mozzies
Footwear– whatever you’re comfortable with (no high heels please ladies!). Easy tracks, so thongs are fine
We recently went on a day trip on Barefoot Tours to all the remote waterfalls in the area. Josephinefalls were the best. The guide was amazing and super friendly. Can’t recommend these guys enough.” -TripAdvisor Review
Pickups from your accommodation in Cairns CBD are between 7-8am, and we usually return 6-7:30pm.
Unfortunately we are unable to pick up from the Northern beaches (too lazy sorry). You can however book a one way transfer with FNQ Airport Shuttle (0432 488 783), they pick up from the Northern Beaches hotels/resorts, they charge $11 per person and will drop you off at The Jack (where we will collect you from at 7:45am). If driving in, we suggest you select Cairns City Backpackers (274 Draper St) as your pickup location as you can park there all day for free.
Minimum age 13 years old. No max age limit, but customers do need to be fairly fit and healthy and ok on their feet (some of the tracks can be a little tricky otherwise)
We try to take photos throughout the day on our camera to upload to Facebook, however this is not a guarantee sometimes there is technical issues, or our guides just f*** it up we recommend not relying on our camera but using it for bonus photos instead (it’s a free of charge service we try to provide).
Don’t forget to chuck a smile in your pocket too!!
Refund Policy: Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before the tour departs are entitled to a full refund, no refund if cancelled within 24 hours of departure time.
